Cherry Blossom Intimates Declares National Cancer Survivor's Day in City of Glenarden, Maryland June 2, 2018

Cherry Blossom Intimates, a first-of-its-kind breast health facility and intimates boutique in Glenarden, Maryland partnered with Mayor Edward Estes, mayor of the City of Glenarden, to officially declare June 2, 2018, National Cancer Survivors Day in Glenarden, Maryland.

National Cancer Survivors Day® is the one day each year that communities across the globe come together to acknowledge the cancer survivors in their community, to raise awareness of the ongoing challenges cancer survivors face because of their disease, and - most importantly - to celebrate life. NCSD celebrations give cancer survivors an opportunity to connect with other survivors, celebrate personal milestones, and recognize those who have supported them.

With the theme, Celebrating You, Cherry Blossom Intimates offered complimentary bra fittings, vision boards, mindfulness exercises, and resources to countless women in the Prince George's County, Maryland and Washington, DC metropolitan area community.

All day long, women were able to tour the unique bra boutique and breast health facility, enjoy a complimentary bra fitting, sip mocktails and chat with Dr. Hampton about breast health topics.

Between 12pm and 2pm, guests experienced a live vision board tutorial with Jane O. Smith and created their own vision boards. Vision boards are powerful tools that help to create and manifest goals and dreams. Supplies were provided.

Guests also learned mindfulness techniques between 12pm and 2pm from co-founder, Jasmine Jones, that aimed to enhance peacefulness in their lives.
